Guides & short reads

Practical introductions from the BSCapital Inc. education team. Not personal advice — for learning only.

Getting started on the online platform

After you register at private.bs.capital, verify your identity, choose your account type and familiarise yourself with the dashboard. Start with a demo if you want to practise order entry before funding a live account. Always read the risk disclosure before placing your first trade.

Forex basics: pairs, spreads and sessions

Currency trading means buying one currency while selling another. Majors such as EUR/USD tend to be the most liquid. Spreads widen in quiet markets and around major news — use the economic calendar to see scheduled releases. Never risk more than you can afford to lose on a single position.

Position sizing and leverage

Leverage amplifies both gains and losses. A common beginner mistake is oversizing relative to account equity. Define a maximum risk per trade (many traders use 1–2% of balance as a ceiling) and stick to it. BSCapital Inc. provides tools to set stops — use them as part of your plan, not as a substitute for one.

Trading equities vs. holding long term

Short-term stock trading focuses on price movement over days or hours, not multi-year ownership. Understand market hours, overnight financing where applicable and how corporate earnings can gap prices. Diversify across sectors rather than concentrating in a single name.

Crypto volatility: what to expect

Digital assets can move sharply in short periods. Liquidity varies by coin and time of day. Treat crypto as a high-risk sleeve of a broader portfolio, use appropriate position sizes and avoid trading with borrowed funds you cannot afford to lose.

Using the economic calendar

Our calendar page embeds macro event data to help you plan around CPI, employment and central-bank decisions. High-impact releases can increase spreads and slippage — consider reducing size or standing aside until volatility settles.

Trader feedback

Illustrative comments only. Names may be changed. Results vary and are not typical.

I use the platform mainly for EUR/USD. The education articles on spreads were useful before going live. Support replied to a funding question by email the same day.

I keep a small watchlist of US tech names and use the platform charts for entries. Withdrawal status updates in the client area were clear.

I check the economic calendar before major releases. Fees are shown on the order ticket before I confirm a trade.
